Mission

The institute strives to conduct proactive policy research and advocacy that enhance food security, create wealth and sustain the environment.

Objectives

• Conduct policy relevant research in agriculture and issues affecting rural areas and the poor
• Dissemination and outreach of knowledge and insights gained from that research
• Capacity building, for the institute, Egerton University and the country, that contributes to improved generation, demand and application of policy research.
